Just a list of some of the comments I get when I kill people then taunt. I find it kind of amusing :)

The other day I stumbled upon two amazing artists that give their tunes away for free as a download. I like to classify them both as indie rock, but that is always up for debate! Check them out, here are links to their stuff: Both are really great artists and I highly recommend buying their stuff if you have the money, these guys are what I wish every musician would be. They truly love what they do and are not in it for the money and fame. Fresh Body Shop doesn't sell CD's so I didn't buy his stuff.. Brad Sucks does though, so I bought a couple of his CD's, which are in the mail right now! |

If you have been playing the new Battlefield Bad Company 2 beta, you probably know all about the horrible server browser. You are probably looking for a way to get rid of all the servers from other countries especially. Well, now there is a way (thanks to a big tip from dardf over at NFC, he deserves full credit for this :P). How to do it:

I know a lot of you are here for the vocalize commands, but the group I usually game with has just started a 9v9 L4D2 server. I haven't gotten to try it myself, but it would be nice to see some of you guys pop by. There are instructions on how to connect to the server in this thread. If you already know how to join a server in L4D2, just search for "THE LIZARD LOUNGE | 9vs9 | Chicago |". Drop by if you have some time and want to give it a shot. Hope to see you there! |

For those of you who play TF2 regularly, you will have noticed that ever since the WAR! update, your game has (probably) been stuttering and crashing like crazy. I think I have finally found a solution to that problem on the steam forums >HERE< According to Shazril,

For those of you who are confused as to why your root password is invalid according to netbeans for your ruby on rails project, I have a very quick fix. According to the netbeans rubygems wiki page,
So, you need to run the command "sudo passwd root" to set your root password. You can then use that password in netbeans. |

As many of you may have figured out by now based on the content of this blog, I'm a pretty big gamer. I've gone through a few different gaming communities, from Up in smoke (No, I'm not a druggie lol), LanFusion (these guys shut down their servers), and most recently to NFC and their Lizard Lounge servers for the better part of the last two years. |

For those of you still playing the first Left 4 Dead, I have some vocalize commands you might be interested in :) I don't have a full list like I do for L4D2, but I have my old radial menu and autoexec.cfg file if you want them: Like for L4D2, these radial menus and autoexec.cfg files work well together. |
